Radio waves can go deep under the ocean or far into space. They also interact with high energy space radiation. A new report says they could protect against radiation damage. Similar to how the Van Allen Belts deflect energetic particles. This would be huge for life on this planet. High-energy space radiation threatens: satellites, power grids, and human health.
