Give a monkey a cell phone and this is what ends up on the camera roll.
A man says this is what he found on his phone, after he recovered the device
from a monkey that got into his home. The primate somehow recorded video
which shows its attempts to eat the phone. But it also got in some great selfies
the phone's human owner from Malaysia, says he had a great laugh at the
surprise footage. It's not the first known selfie taken by a monkey though.
This picture taken by a smiling monkey on a photographer's phone, became
the subject of a strange copyright lawsuit filed by PETA on behalf of the animal.
The animal rights group lost that lawsuit and any rights to the photo.
As smartphones become more user-friendly, we can hope to see more selfies
from any animal that's able to get its hands, paws, or hooves on a device with a camera.
Questions:
1. How did the monkey has the phone on its possession?
2. What was it shown to the phone's gallery? How did the owner react?
3. Talk about the first selfie from a monkey. Why did PETA file for a lawsuit?
