Rafiki: It's time I tell you a story. A story of a cub not much bigger than you.

Timon: So, just to be clear, we're not in this story?

Pumbaa: There's a lot of stories with all of us! Tell one of those!

Rafiki: Long before they became legends, Mufasa and the prince, who would come to be known as Scar, became brothers.

Taka: Hello! What's your name?

Mufasa: Mufasa.

Eshe: I told you to wait for me!

Taka: We can't just leave him here!

Eshe: Rules are rules, Taka. The king will never accept a stray.

Mufasa: I'm not a stray. I'm just... lost.

Obasi: We do not associate with outsiders. Taka is the future king. We must protect the bloodline!

Taka: But Dad, I saved his life.

Taka and Mufasa: Let’s go! Hey! Did your momma say you could be out this way?

Taka: I have a secret, Mufasa. I always wanted a brother.

Mufasa: Sometimes I get a scent. It's barely a trace on the wind. It smells like home. Then it's gone.

Eshe: You and Taka together. That is home. Now, both of you go. Find your place in the circle of life.

Kiros: The circle is broken. There will be one lion king.

Eshe: Mufasa! Run!

Mufasa: We must fight together.

Taka: If we fight, we die.

Zazu: Just to be clear, I never signed up for this!

Mufasa: I'm here to protect you, my brother.

Taka: Mufasa! This was a bad idea! We're alive! I did it! I saved us!

Mufasa: You were saying?
