Seeds need water, warmth, and oxygen to sprout and grow. Plants use sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide to create their own food through photosynthesis, a process that also releases oxygen. Flowers develop into fruits, which protect seeds and attract animals that help spread those seeds to new locations.

씨앗들은 싹을 틔우고 자라기 위해 물, 온기, 그리고 산소가 필요합니다. 식물들은 햇빛, 물, 그리고 이산화탄소를 사용하여 산소를 방출하는 과정인 광합성을 통해 그들 자신의 음식을 만듭니다. 꽃들은 씨앗을 보호하고 그 씨앗들을 새로운 장소들로 퍼뜨리는 것을 돕는 동물들을 유인하는 과일로 발전합니다.​

Do you know how a plant grows?

It all starts with a tiny seed.

When a seed gets water and warmth, something magical happens. It begins to grow!

The roots of the plant grow down, down, down into the soil. It hold the growing seedlings in place.

Soon after, the stem reach up, up, up towards the sky.

The young seedling grows leaves that catch the sunlight it needs.

Almost like magic, the plant starts to make its own food!

As the days pass, the plant gets bigger and bigger. And guess what? Some plants will also get pretty flowers and yummy fruits.

Inside the fruits are seeds from which new plants will grow.

Isn't that amazing?
