This big brother stood in for his dead father to participate in a sports day at his little sister's kindergarten. 

The 10-year-old worked incredibly hard to compete their mother said. 

The sibling's father died of leukaemia 2 years ago.

The mother, Xu, only told her boy about 75 days later. 

Xu is still hiding the fact from her 6-year-old daughter... as she thinks the girl is too young to understand.

Since then,the boy has taken care of his little sister... holding her hand and carrying her wherever they go. 

The siblings won a medal that day.
