This is one of the hottest street food in China now grilled ice cubes. 
The vendor first put some oil on the cubes then added seasonings like chilli and cumin and it is ready to be served.

What a wonderful taste. 
One serving is sold at 15 yuan ( US$2).
The vendor said the dish is a speciality of northeastern China.
However, a food researcher from Heilongjiang said that there are no such snacks in the province.  
The dish has gone viral on social media. 
" There was a stir fried pebbles dish not long ago. Now grilled ice cubes." 
" I think people just wan to taste the seasonings. And you need to finish the dish as soon as possible, since the cubes cool down really quickly."
