Disabilities + Gainful Employment = Cam’s Coffee

 

 

Not all adults with disabilities have the opportunity to work -- and Camden Myers wants to change that. Founded by Cam, who lives with a brain injury, and his mom Latasha Barr Lewis, Cam’s Coffee Company is a pop-up style business creating gainful employment for a marginalized community. By ensuring that barriers to successful employment are addressed and providing their staff with experience, the café helps people with disabilities gain self-confidence and workplace skills.
