A Japanese Technique to Overcome Laziness

From time to time, all of us set ourselves a new goal or challenge — and just as often, in the end, we fail to achieve them. You end up telling yourself that you're just not ready yet, that you'll do it next week, next month...or even next year. Why do we give up so easily?





Vocabulary/Expressions:

1.procrastinate (v) - to keep delaying something that must be done.

2. self-improvement (n) - the activity of learning new things on your own that make you a more skilled or able person.

3. carry something out (v) - to do or complete something, especially that you have said you would do or that you have been told to do.

4. principle (n) - a basic idea or rule that explains or controls how something happens or works .

5. overcome (v) - to defeat or succeed in controlling or dealing with something.
