Transcription:
Adult Henry Wheeler: It was just the two of us after
my father left. I don't think losing my father broke my mother's heart, but
rather losing love itself. Her hand started shaking beyond her control; just
leaving the house was difficult.
Frank: Wonder if you can give me a hand here?
Henry: You're bleeding.
Henry: Mom, this is Frank.
Frank: He¡¯s kind enough to offer me a ride.
Adele: We really can't help you.
Frank: Frankly, this needs to happen.
Adele: Where do you want to go?
Frank: Your house.
Woman on TV: Who are police looking for?
TV Reporter: Frank Chambers, an inmate at Sinfield
Prison, serving 18 years for murder.
Frank: I'd be grateful if you let me stay till
nightfall.
Henry: Isn¡¯t that against the law to hide a prisoner?
Frank: If someone were to come by, it would need to
look like I kidnapped you.
Adele: How do I know you won't hurt us? You¡¯re a lot
stronger than you think.
Frank: I've never intentionally hurt anyone in my
life.
Henry: What happened?
Frank: Just know that there¡¯s more to this story than
you'll see in that paper there.
Frank: You won't be needing that any longer. When you
have to say I tied you up, you won't be lying. Frank: Choke up on the bat.
Hands together.
Frank: It¡¯s a good peach.
Adele: We should throw most of them away before they
rot.
Frank: I have another idea. There¡¯s a fellow who let a
woman like your mother get away.
Henry: He got together with the secretary.
Adele: It's infected! I'll send him for medicine.
Local Cop: Keep an eye out, all right?
Frank: I should go.
Adele: Maybe you should stay.
Frank: They're not going to stop looking.
Adele: I know.
Adult Henry: There were two people who couldn't go out
into the world, so they made a world with each other.
Frank: I¡¯d take 20 more years just to have another 3 days
with you.
Adele: I can't give you a family.
Frank: You already have.
Evelyn: Adele? Are you a friend?
Frank: Just a handyman.
Frank: We¡¯re going to hit the road and never look
back.
Man: Well withdrawing this quantity, it's a little
suspicious.
Local Cop: Morning, son. You want to tell me where
you¡¯re going?
Frank: I came to save you, Adele.
Adele: No.
