Do you know what I M P,
impatience is? Yep, you got it! When you're impatient, it is like having a
wiggly worm inside you that wants things to happen right now, not one minute
later, not tomorrow, or any time that makes you wait. When you are impatient,
it shows that you don't like waiting. Got it? Got it? Got it!
Do you know what empathy is? Have you ever seen
someone feel sad and you felt sad too? Did you want to go give them a hug or
just be there with them, or even try to make them laugh? If you have had this
feeling, that's empathy. Empathy is feeling with your heart what someone else
feels.
Do you know what a boundary is? We all have an
invisible fence around us called a boundary. Inside that fence is where our
personal space and feelings sit. Only you can decide what or who will come in.
For some people, the space is less, and for some, it is a lot more. So, always
remember to let someone know if they try to step inside without asking you
first.
Where does confidence come from? Scientists who study
our emotions say that our confidence grows when we believe in ourselves and
when others believe in us too. It's like having a team of cheerleaders in our
heads, all cheering for us. When your heart and mind tell you anything is
possible, that feeling inside is confidence.
