Vocabulary:
1.A natural satellite = is any celestial body in space that orbits around a larger body. Moons are called natural satellites because they orbit planets.
2.Orbit = the curved path of a celestial object or spacecraft around a star, planet, or moon, especially a periodic elliptical revolution.
3.Solar system = the collection of eight planets and their moons in orbit around the sun, together with smaller bodies in the form of asteroids, meteoroids, and comets. The planets of the solar system are (in order of distance from the sun) Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Questions:
1.What is our natural satellite that orbits our planet?
2.What is the moon made of?
3.Does the moon have its own light?
4.Does the moon change color?
5.How fast does the moon orbit the Earth?
6.How many days does it take for the moon to orbit the Earth?
7.How many moons does the Earth have? And how many moons are there in the Solar System?
